I’m an experienced Career Internal Auditor and GRC professional. I say so because I never exercised internal auditing as a stopgap arrangement for an eventual career in Finance; a tragedy in perpetuity with internal auditing. Indeed I forayed into it as my bread and butter…..but there and then it became my passion; it defines me.
I’ve mastered the alignment and integration of Risk Management, Quality Management and Performance Management with and in Internal Auditing. I’ve been the architect of Internal Audit Charters, a specialist in Internal Auditing incubation and a successful implementor of COSO’s Frameworks. I’ve to my credit resolution and closure of several forensic engagements. Lately, I’ve harnessed the power of Data in internal audit planning and delivery.
I’m a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), a Certified Internal Auditor (The IIA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA), Certified in Risk Management Assurance (The IIA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (ISACA), a Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor (IQCS) and a Certified Data Analyst (Google).
I’m a proud Ernst & Young alumni, have worked as Head of Internal Audit at a Global Consumer Electronics Brand and presently working as Head of Internal Audit at one of the largest combined cycle thermal power producer.
